Is Hatha or Ashtanga yoga easier on the body? My mum, grandmother and I are going to take a yoga class together, the options at our gym are Hatha or Ashtanga Yoga.

I am wondering which is the best introduction into yoga, I’m 16 but fairly strong and flexible but my mum had a baby 9 months ago and my grandmother’s coming up 77 so we don’t want anything too vigorous.

I look forward to receiving your advice.

Generally, would it be better to do Hatha Yoga an hour EVERY day or every OTHER day? Because I heard that all exercises give better results if you do the session on one day and rest on another.

But I am asking about Hatha Yoga in this case, because it isn’t a vigorous exercise, I thought it could be better to do that every day? What do you think?
